Here’s a post from my Facebook timeline. See if you can relate to it. In his TEDx talk Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Action, Simon Sinek contends, “People don’t buy what you do; they buy WHY you do it.” Earlier this month I attended the Wealthy Visionary Conference in Los Angeles and had the amazing opportunity to learn from Ridgely Goldsborough, co-founder of the WHY Formula. Your message comes from your heart. It’s the wisdom and the melody stored there. Your personal story is the beginning of wisdom that you can share with others. It may be a story of triumph, of tremendous learning and lessons, of overcoming, of love, of challenge or hope. Your story was given to you to share with others, and for some that hear it the impact is life-changing. When you stand and share your story in an empowering way, your story will heal you and your story will heal somebody else. – Iyanla Vanzant  Here are three ways to access

Your message is an aspect of your purpose – it is at the heart of why you are here. My mentor, Tim Kelley, author of True Purpose says, Your message is the wisdom you bring to share with the world – wisdom you have been given in order to share it with others. It is something you transmit, something that passes from you to them. It is the deepest truth you can share. For most, the message is the scariest aspect of purpose and usually the last to be revealed. People have mixed feelings about having a message: they both
